No Time for Social Media
PROBLEM: As a published author, I know it’s important to have a social media presence. But really, who has the time? I wanted to post about positive things happening in the world because good vibes are important to me, but researching and summarizing such news would require a time investment I wasn’t willing to give.
SOLUTION: Let an AI do it! Here’s what I did:
1. Fetch
Set up a Zapier agent to search the internet for articles matching my requirements, including scope, time frame, and sample sources.

2. Store
Extract data from the news article, ensure it hasn’t been used in a previous post, and enter the data as a new row in a Google Sheet.

3. Summarize
Set up an additional Zapier agent that triggers when a new row is entered into the sheet. This one uses the data to write an engaging post designed to entertain readers.

4. Post
Add this newly generated content as a post on my Facebook author page with the heading “GOOD VIBES IN THE REAL WORLD”. Schedule these agents to run once a week.
