The Complete Package
Hi! I’m Zoe Blessing, and yes! That is my real name. 🙂 When I’m not awkwardly posing in my backyard for profile photos, I play video games, write fiction, and chauffeur my dogs to the park. I also enjoy tinkering on personal web projects, not just to keep my skills sharp, but because building stuff is fun!
Whether it’s coding up someone else’s design or creating a web design myself, I excel at bringing ideas to life. Collaboration is important because I like to have a clear idea of goals and expectations, and also because not everything is about me. 🙂
I pride myself on balancing professionalism and personality. It’s important to stay on task, but we don’t have to be stuffy about it. A little sense of humor can go a long way.
A bit of history…
Once upon a time, there was a clueless college student (hint: it was me) who had no idea what to do in life. She fumbled her way to a Bachelor’s degree in something that didn’t make her happy (but still managed to get top grades while doing it). Sometime after graduation, when the Internet was just starting to boom (shortly after the dinosaurs went extinct), she discovered that people could make their own web pages.
“What?” she said, eyes agog. “I can build these myself? How???”
She ran to the bookstore (okay, she drove) and bought HTML for Dummies, then proceeded to spend an entire summer sweating in front of her computer, learning how it all worked. Today, Zoe is a master, able to bend web pages to her will and absorb new technology like a very nerdy sponge.
In addition to speaking of herself in third person, Zoe is also a strong proponent for kindness and has a history of lending a hand when she can. We’re all bumping around in this world together. Let’s embrace compassion and uplift those around us.
